Does your pond leak? Many fish ponds are constructed of cement plaster over concrete blocks. From thermal movement these ponds will sometimes develop hairline cracks which will then leak water out. Many people will chip the crack out and do the usual hydraulic cement patch, and within a short period of time it cracks again. The Chargar Corporation has developed a thick 100% epoxy coating that can bridge the crack, waterproof it and prevent further cracking from movement. The Epoxy Waterproofer can be brushed applied over the crack forming a 15 mil impervious film. It has slight expansion and contraction ability. It comes in clear or colors.
Won’t Harm the Fish
Since Epoxy Waterproofer is 100% solids it becomes completely inert once it has fully cured. This means that it will not leach any harmful chemicals and will not hurt the livestock. It will not cause any algae issues by leaching nitrates or phosphates. Customers have used this epoxy to seal ponds for over 30 years with no ill effects.
Ponds aren’t the use for Epoxy Waterproofer. It can be used to build and seal water fountains of any size. Since it is safe to use with potable water many customers in the agricultural industry have used it to waterproof animal drinking troughs and and cisterns.
