Dual Soft Rod
Non Gassing Backer Rod

Dual Rod is a soft, flexible compressible, non-gassing backer rod used in expansion and contraction joints to control sealant application. It also helps produce a uniform joint contour will acting as a bond breaker between the backer material and sealant.

Primarily for specialty applications where closed cell/open cell are not satisfactory. Dual Rod is particularly well suited for irregular joints requiring self leveling, flowable sealants. Available in sizes of 3/8",5/8",7/8',1-1/8" 1-1/2' 2",3". We can ship as little as 100 ft or by full rolls.
